we’ve all had moments where we have convinced ourselves that what we have going on isn’t the issue that needs addressing.
we’ve all fallen for the notion that the responsibility of our actions falls on someone or something else —
that they must stop doing what they are doing first before we choose to change our ways (if we decide to change out ways at all).
this route of action, this way of thinking, isn’t serving you like you think it is, fam.
thinking that someone or something must give way in order for you to experience life how you want to experience it is a game of Russian Roulette.
quite frankly, you have a better chance of winning an olympic medal than getting someone or something to change their/its ways.
have you seen how difficult it is to convince you to attempt something different?
who are we to say that what someone else is doing is right or wrong when it’s neither + both at the same time?
plus, what gives anyone the right to tell others how they must show up in this world?
the world doesn’t change around you until you change how you view the world around you.
when you hear “the world is bending for you” or “everything is working for your good“, it isn’t because these people or objects are changing what they are doing for you.
it isn’t because that mountain got tired of being in your way, or that you shouted threats at it + added some bass in your voice that it decided to move.
a mountain moves for you because you realize all things are possible, including that mountain being out of your way.
now don’t get me wrong: that mountain is still going to be a mountain, fam.
people are gonna still people, too.
when you redirect your focus to what you’re doing, none of that matters.
today, focus on changing how you interact with life without trying to make life change for you.
accept that life is gonna life + that it is up to you to experience it in the ways you wish to experience it.
anything is possible when you truly believe that it is.
address + take responsibility for your actions + watch your life transform.
be you, be dope!

do you believe you can move mountains? why or why not?
