your life choices require an attitude check

life is all about choices, fam.

you can choose to enjoy what you do,

you can choose to despise it + complain about it,

you can choose to not do anything at all,

+

you can even choose to do all the things, all the time.

whatever you choose to do today, do it with consideration + balance.

it’s no use doing all the things, all the time when you don’t even enjoy what you’re doing.

it also makes no sense to do nothing at all simply because you enjoy doing nothing because… well, nothing gets done.

what must be done in your life may require an attitude check + a purpose check.

sit down if you must + write out your pros + cons for doing what you’re doing —

do you feel icky about completing a task a certain way, feeling like you’re selling your soul to achieve what you want most in life? if this way is making you feel empty, what can you do instead?

do you feel terrified about flubbing an opportunity, knowing that you can do it (it may take some skill building + a few times to get it how you want it, though) + you’ll feel accomplished when its done? what skills/knowledge do you need to complete the task? what other support is needed to get the task done?

do you feel aligned with the purpose + intention behind this task? does it resonate with the core of you? are you passionate about it to some degree?

which experiences(s) are you wanting/willing to live with long term — emptiness or fulfillment?

which path of actions will take you down the road of experiencing more of what you want to experience in your life?

find the balance between “i enjoy what i do” + “this is what i want to accomplish” by putting in the effort to enjoy the process of achieving.

life is worth living, fam, + you deserve to enjoy, celebrate, + experience fulfillment during the process of achieving your successes, goals, + accomplishments.

curating the experience is up to you.

what will you choose to experience today?

be you, be dope!
