the reason you aren’t motivated to get it done because it doesn’t mean anything to you, fam.
up the stakes by making meaning behind it.
think of the must do task as making a lasting impression + impact upon those for which you love + care.
it’s easier to get passionate about something that affects you, your family, + your community + to be quite honest, most of what happens in this world that needs immediate attention does.
repurposing + recycling not only reduces the amount of waste,
it disrupts consumerism + ultimately capitalism.
growing your own food +/or preparing your own meals not only helps boosts the food supply,
it encourages community + also disrupts capitalism.
reading long form text such as books, peer reviews, articles, + blog posts not only increases boredom (this is a positive, btw),
it encourages independent thinking, enhances creativity + curiosity, promotes the dopamine detox + essentially fights against capitalism.
moving your body daily not only encourages fluidity in your body,
it disturbs the cycle of stagnation + overstimulation, + ultimately disrupts capitalism.
your smallest must do tasks can change the world, but you have to venture beyond the immediate urge of receiving instant gratification + realize all that you do can be ground breaking.
whether you’re limiting your use of a.i. technologies or only supporting businesses (using your monies) at places that align with your core values, you are changing the interface of what the masses consume + ultimately destroying monopolies (you thought i was gonna say disrupting capitalism, didn’t you? 😉)
think about it fam:
if we all cared about what we consume, how we consume it, + the impact it has on our lives + on the lives of others, what changes to our daily actions would we make?
take that passion, bottle it up, + use it to do what you know must be done today.
keeping a clean house isn’t simply for aesthetics, consuming less ain’t for the clout, + working out ain’t for the gram.
a deeper meaning to life resides beyond the smoke + mirrors.
to make a meaningful impact, life needs your passion.
be you, be dope!
