plainly + clearly declaring what you want is how one starts the process of purposeful pursuit.

by speaking up + saying what you want to accomplish, you’ve put the intention out there to make your accomplishments into something very real for yourself.

the most part important part of the process, though?

making a move.

having the intention is the appetizer of the process.

moving with intention is the meat + bones of the process (+ if you’re vegan, it’s where the good stuff resides 😝).

of course we cannot forget dessert, fam.

savoring the flavor of your success is the ultimate accomplishment!

however, we must acknowledge that without taking purposeful action there is no success to savor.

there’s no dessert to have, there is no accomplishment to be made, + there is nothing to celebrate.

today, decide what you want to do + do it.

you’ve thought about it for a while now, you know exactly what you’ve got to do + yet you’re still standing with frozen feet hoping your situation will change because your mind has changed.

that’s not how any of this works, fam.

the way to create forward motion is by moving forward with intention, with care, + with passion.

motivate yourself to move by moving.

how does one eat an elephant?

journal prompt(s) for today:  

split your paper into three sections: where i am now on the far left + where i want to be on the far right. for now, leave the middle section blank. 

in the first section, write down where you are now + then, right across from it in the third section, write down where you want to be. 

use the middle section to bridge the gap between where you are now + where you want to be by writing down what actions you must take to get you from the first section to the third section.

lastly, take the necessary action to bridge the gap + turn your dreams into your reality.
