what’s the issue with being wrong, fam?

why are we, as a collective, so obsessed with being right?

what’s the issue with being wrong, fam?

why do we not give ourselves space to learn something new without judging ourselves for not knowing?

when is it okay for us to find out that we no longer believe in something + give ourselves permission to change our minds?

only believing in our own thoughts creates such a limited lived perspective + in turn, narrows our lived experience.

imagine thinking Brussel sprouts are disgusting until you tried them prepared a different way + now you can’t get enough of them.

imagine not listening to a genre of music or reading certain books up until this point in your life + upon exploring, you find out you actually appreciate the lyrics + the stories told through these mediums.

imagine thinking there’s only one way to approach a math problem when there are infinite ways to achieve the correct answer.

today, look forward to being wrong.

get out of your own rigid way of thinking + open yourself up to being challenged, to learning something new, + to developing a different perspective.

you don’t get extra brownie points for correcting someone, for knowing it all, or for being right.

so be wrong, humbly + gracefully accept correction, + never 👏🏾 stop 👏🏾 learning 👏🏾 , fam.

be you, be dope!
