you’ve gotten this far —
what’s the point in stopping now, fam?
you’ve gone through so much to get here,
(in some instances you’ve barely scraped by),
+
it’s now that you’ve decided that you’re done aligning yourself with your goals, dreams, + aspirations?
you’re willing to give up on yourself that easily, fam?
all the cries,
the laughs,
the jokes,
the joys,
the hurts,
the life you’ve lived up until this point —
you’ve put in a tremendous amount of work so why stop now?
today, instead of quitting completely, activate mission: refresh.
it’s clear that you want to new lease on life + you can have that without completely throwing disregarding your progress.
remind yourself how fortunate you are to be where you are + keep using your time with intention + wisdom.
you know what it’s like to be elsewhere — you’ve experienced it once before + have decided that it’s not where you want to be aka that ain’t it.
express gratitude for your progress, determine that you won’t give up, + press forward with compassion for your current situation.
you may not be exactly where you want to be, but you are closer to your goals than you ever were before this moment.
you’ve still got time,
you’re still here,
+
you can still keep going. 🖤
be you, be dope!
