worrying weaponizes our imagination.
instead of imagining all the ways life can work out for us
or
all the pathways + pivotal points that can propel us to new heights
or
all the opportunities that can positively change the course of our lives, we choose to worry + focus on the complete opposite.
when we worry, we use our imaginations as a tool of mass self-destruction.
we shatter our hopes + kill our dreams.
we glorify the struggle + attack our intentions.
we suck the joy out of our own lives.
today, remember where there’s worry there is also hope.
most importantly, you get to choose what side you’ll lean toward.
in situations + circumstances when it seems damn near impossible to see a way out, don’t even attempt to imagine another way.
rather, walk in blind faith that it’s already worked out for you + challenge yourself to remain hopeful regardless of what you see before you.
you are not stuck, fam.
you haven’t always lived in a state of worry + you don’t have to torture yourself any longer.
the truth is you’ve experienced hope,
you’ve dreamed real dreams,
+
you have imagined how dope life can be for you regardless of the current situation or circumstance.
seeing the possibilities + not labeling them as good or bad is an understated superpower.
we’d be less inclined to worry when we decide to accept life for what it is, realizing that our pathway has dips + twists, but nothing can separate us from what is for us but ourselves.
remember who you are + bask in your power of choice.
today, choose where your imaginative energy flows + decide how you can use your powers in a constructive, positively anchored way.
be you, be dope!
