no matter who said what to you,
who did whatever to you,
or who didn’t do for you,
when it comes to your mental wellbeing, you can’t worry about what they did or didn’t do or say to you.
constantly worrying about they do is a form of mental imprisonment, fam.
release yourself from the mental stronghold that the opinions + acceptance of others has over your life.
let them do them + you … well, you do you, boo.
there are goals you’d like to achieve in your life,
dreams that you are currently manifesting into your lived reality,
ideas that you are exploring,
+
perspectives that you are reviewing + reworking.
the lifestyle that you’re cultivating for yourself deserves your time, energy, + focus.
take care to not stick yourself into a jail cell of other’s limitations because someone offered you unsolicited advice or gave opinions about who you are + what you’re capable of doing, + you took it as truth.
no one but you can stop you from doing what you must do, fam.
there are no amount of words that can ultimately stop you from doing what you’ve resolved to do unless you allow them to knock you off your feet.
lastly, nurture is important.
who are you hang around, places you frequent, + what you consume all matters in grand scheme of living life on your own terms.
surround yourself with truth + inspiration,
form a sanctuary with others who support your lifestyle,
+ actively pursue a life that aligns with who you are + every thing you wish to be + accomplish.
above all: feel free to be.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
what are some words that you have a hard time forgetting (i’m talking about words that stung you to your core)? what are some truths that counter every word said about you that you cannot forget? which do you believe is true — what you were told about yourself or what you know as truth?
