you are more than the logical thinking that overtakes your brain when you’re confronted with the unknown or when you’re attempting to make sense of it all.
you are more than the anxiety riddled thoughts that run rampant + haunt you when you’re comparing your life to someone else’s, or when you’re worried about how others may perceive you because of what you’re thinking or doing.
today, give your intrusive thoughts space to wander in + out without giving the space to manifest.
there are times when uninvited thoughts will pop up into your mind.
thinking thoughts doesn’t make you bad person.
they prove that you are alive. that’s it.
what you do after these thoughts pop into your brain is the true testament of who you are at your core.
you are more than the thoughts that run through your head, fam.
thoughts will come + go, but they don’t define who you are.
rest your mind from thinking about them too hard by allowing them to come + go as they please, + find peace in accepting them for what they are.
though you cannot control every single thought that comes into your mind, you can control how you choose to react to them + leaving them alone is surely an option.
