as the world changes so do you

a situation changes.

a stipulation changes.

a menu changes.

the world changes.

the “it thing” changes.

the rules change.

minds change.

hearts change.

you, too, can, have, + will continue to change.

from one moment to the next, you are slightly different than you were in the last.

today, when you think of change, think of change as a gain.

sometimes we’re so focused on what we lose due to changes that we don’t realize how much we’ve gained from change.

with change, you gain: 

  • knowledge
  • understanding
  • skills
  • perspective
  • patience
  • adaptability
  • clarity
  • strength

honestly, you name it + you can gain it.

so then why is it that we are so afraid of change?

why, then, are we afraid to gain more of what we desire?

why do we resist becoming the person we’ve always wanted to be, to experience what we’ve always wanted to experience, + to live life to its fullest without the limitations we have placed on it?

the only way we can do that is by changing our mindset, changing our environments, +/or changing our temperament —

whatever changes it takes to bask in the fullness + freedoms life has to offer is worth the change, no?

the world is constantly changing + is doing so at a fast pace.

don’t ever forget you hold the power to change your world, too, fam + you will + have always done that in your time. 😉
