before today, you couldn’t do it.
you didn’t have the time,
the resources,
the capacity,
or the skills to perform the task.
today holds a much different story with a drastically different ending.
explore the opportunities you have today remembering how much your life story has changed.
not only do you have time today, your position has shifted.
over the years you’ve learned various skills, acquired resources, + have built up the strength + resilience to tackle any task that is handed to you.
you’ve come to the realization that it’s not that you can’t do something, it’s that you’re choosing what you will + will not do.
you’re accepting your choices as your own, you’re taking accountability for your actions, + you’re living life on your own terms.
the difference between then + now is your commitment to conviction —
your beliefs about who you are + what you’re capable of doing inspires you to take life by its reins + live fully, immersing yourself into all of the things that not only make your heart glad, but that you know must be done (might as well enjoy it while you do it, right?).
fear is no longer a factor when you decide that life on the other side of that obstacle, that the feeling of accomplishment, is what you’d rather experience.
before today, your limited beliefs kept you stuck + stifled your growth, but remember that you’re able, + show up as the always learning, ever-growing, dope person you are.
be you, be dope!
