being in “control” isn’t always the answer

do you want the problem solved or do you want to continue complaining about it?

do you want someone else to solve it or are you willing to take responsibility for it?

the only way your problem will be solved is to solve it yourself.

that looks like owning your part in the problem + deciding to do something about it.

owning your part of the problem can be as simple as you changing your attitude about it.

does it resolve the actual problem?

well, yes — yes it does + here’s why:

being in “control” isn’t always the answer, fam.

claiming ownership to something that isn’t yours + making it your problem inserts you into a space that isn’t truly meant for you to be in the moment.

when a problem is out of your control, there ain’t shit you can do about it but change your attitude towards it.

you may not like how everyone else is moving + that’s, in all fairness, a you problem.

suffering is a choice.

why put yourself through agony when you can change your perspective + let life life?

changing your attitude affords you the opportunity to let it go + let life be what it is.

though you cannot change the outcome of said issue, you can accept it for what it is + move on with your life knowing you’ve done all that you can do to resolve the issue.

you feel a way about how shit is going down — cool.

your feelings aren’t facts + the facts are 1) this ain’t got shit to do with for real + 2) you must accept it to get over it.

today, encourage yourself to let go, to not take issue with issues that are not even truly an issue for you + admit that by inserting yourself, you want them to be your issue.

release your feelings about it + let life be — it’s above you now 🙏🏾

be you, be dope!
