most people can see the worse case scenario playing out in their minds + can proudly say, “i saw this happening!” or “i knew this would happen” when it does become their reality.
the jedi mind trick is to see what you want to happen instead of focusing on anything else.
what does it look like to own + live in your dream house?
how big is it?
how many beds + baths does it contain?
what does the kitchen look like?
based on the layout, where do you walk next + which way does the floorplan flow?
is it fully furnished?
who do you visualize cleaning + taking care of the house regularly?
what does your face look like when you’re receiving + paying the mortgage note each month?
what does your bank account look like after you pay all the utilities + set aside a lil’ something for maintenance + upkeep?
in this example, see yourself becoming the person who can not only afford to purchase this house, but take it one step further + become the person who loves to live in + can maintain this house.
in life, that translates to becoming the person who can uphold + upkeep the dream.
it’s one thing to visualize yourself scoring the winning point, but are you also ready for the fame + slander that follows?
life can’t just look good on the outside, you must also have the mental fortitude to stand up to the challenges having this type of lifestyle can bring, too.
your dreams are not put in your head for you to escape your current reality, fam.
because your dreams can be your reality, you must understand that putting in the effort to convert your dreams into something real requires sacrifice, intention, + your best efforts.
life can look very different for you + whatever it is that you want to experience, you can make it happen for yourself.
