discovering what “thank you” actually means

saying that you’re grateful is one thing.

showing that you’re grateful is another.

in what ways can you display your gratitude today?

yes, saying, “thank you” is fine, yet it may not be as thoughtful as you’d think especially when you’ve been programmed to say it (i.e. displaying manners).

what does it mean to be truly thankful?

what does that look like day in + day out?

say you receive what you consider the biggest blessing you have yet —

in what ways are you showing your appreciation for it?

we pray for money,

for kids + family,

for possessions,

for time,

for grace,

for forgiveness,

for wellness,

for a mate,

for that promotion,

for that opportunity,

only to find ourselves complaining about it,

disregarding the effort it takes to maintain + care for it,

+/or completely forgetting about it altogether + acting like we didn’t pray for it to happened.

break the cycle of complaining about your life + don’t take today for granted, fam.

you’re here on purpose

by grace you’re still standing, still thriving, still able to do what must be done.

on top of that, you have every single thing you need to move through this world without want for anything.

+ when you do find yourself in need, you know how to ask.

to be cared for is a blessing.

to be loved is a blessing.

to be alive is a blessing.

take the time to appreciate life + show your gratitude by unapologetically + unabashedly living, fam.

be you, be dope!
