it’s sometimes difficult to conceptualize how abundantly blessed we are when we’re in the midst of hardship.
so, don’t look at the bigger picture.
it’s too massive to truly connect to gratitude on a heart felt level.
instead, today notice the little things + express gratitude on a microscopic level.
what are you grateful for that is happening right now?

express gratitude for your ability to read.
are you breathing?
express gratitude for that, too.
while you’re at it —
notice the soundness of your mind (can’t take that for granted),
notice how even though you may not have a ton of money in the bank, you have food to eat + are fully clothed.
notice how expressing gratitude is shifting your perspective, regulating your nervous system, + redirecting your focus,
+ express gratitude for the opportunity to experience the richness found in these moments.
don’t allow the details of the day to go unnoticed by you yet again, fam.
today, transform the way you see all the things you usually take for granted by expressing gratitude for what is, what was, + what will be.
