it can be challenging to see life as a privilege when you’re facing some of the toughest times you’ve ever faced.
we can easily take living for granted when instead of filled with gratefulness, our hearts are filled rage, wrath, + revenge.
+ see that’s the thing —
the beauty of life is that you are a beast as conquering challenges, feelings are fleeting + you can decide to change your perspective at anytime.
in your darkest moments, you can choose to be a guiding light + lead with a grateful heart.
thankfully, you aren’t living life to simply rattle off accomplishments + live within the labels others have bestowed upon you.
you are here to live a full + rich life, to learn + absorb what you can about the world around you, + to apply what you’ve learned while exploring many different perspectives + becoming a person who embraces + accepts many different experiences as individual truths.
you aren’t looking down on others because they aren’t doing what you do, have told them to do, or don’t have similar or shared experiences, you see everyone as a source of inspiration + encouragement, even when the inspiration is to continue walking your own path + not venturing to theirs.
today is your opportunity to fulfill the promises you’ve made to yourself + begin living a life that reflects the desires of your heart.
today, there is a possibility that your mindset will change + that you will begin experiencing life in a way that exemplifies gratitude + acceptance.
you have a chance, today, to confront your challenges head on + not get on your case about doing your best.
you can start learning the skills today,
start reading the books today,
start reaching out to the people who you want to learn more from today,
+
start accepting that you can do whatever you put your mind to today.
life isn’t perfect + neither are you, fam.
rather note that as you change your mindset + heartspace, the world around you — your life — will change for you, too.
be you, be dope!
