there’s a way to enhance the appreciation your “best day ever” memories bring to your life
this isn’t a cheat code more than it is a suggestion 😅
appreciating your memories requires you to do this one thing:
to fully + completely live in the present moment.
here’s the deal —
how often have you proclaimed, “today is going to be the best day ever” + actually meant it?
how many times have you intentionally sought out to make that proclamation the realist thing you’ve ever said to date?
how many times have you looked back on the days in which you deemed it as “the best day ever” + actually remember + appreciate all that you did?
likely, the memories are few + far between as you’re unable to recall all the things that happened in that moment; however, you may be fully aware of the feeling that the day brought into your life.
today, intentionally transform the overstated + underrated proclamation “today is the best day ever” into your reality.
when you’re living in the present, you won’t need a faded picture in a broken glass to remind you to appreciate how colorful + alive your life is in this moment.
you are here now, fam.
create the memories by appreciating the moment; by living in the fullest + richness of the day.
don’t think too hard about what today will bring, what you may learn, what path you will walk, or whether or not someone else will enjoy this day with you.
today, decide here + now that it’s your best day yet +, with gratitude in your heart, live as it is so.
be you, be dope!
