from overstimulated to a clutter free home

stop feeling like a prisoner in your own home + do something about the clutter.

i know it ain’t spring time + deep cleaning may not on your radar, but the clutter is not only stressing you out, it’s causing you unnecessary harm + pain in your life.

home is the operative word here.

we aren’t only talking about the dwelling in which your physical body lives, we are talking about your where your mind + spirit dwell, too.

one of the main reasons why your mind cannot stop racing is because it’s overstimulated.

+ as difficult as it is to part with some items, letting go is absolutely necessary for your mental, physical, + spiritual health.

today, focus on clearing the clutter.

don’t know where to start? here are a few ways to get started:

  • log off social media + turn the channel from anything that’s constantly feeding you news in real time
  • commit yourself to movement + get your blood flowing
  • pick up a book or read material that encourages + uplifts you
  • start with the “junk drawer” + organize that first
  • clean out your car + organize your trunk
  • place your hands over your heart, feel your heart beating in your chest, remember how hard it works to keep you alive, + give it the best care you can with your food choices
  • clear the desk in your office/bedroom
  • organize one clothing drawer at a time

there is freedom in detachment from clutter + chaos.

you deserve to dwell in a clear + clean space that inspires you to create, learn, grow, + be.

you are surrounded by enough distractions in your life already, fam.

take it upon yourself to rid your home of the junk in your life so that you can think clearer, move freer, + have more opportunities to focus on what’s important in your life.

learn to let go.

be you, be dope!
