give life no other choice than to deliver this

what’s funny about us is that we are constantly chasing all of the dope things in life when really, the dope things in life are coming for us.

impatience is a helluva drug, ainnit?

so let’s do this today —

instead of chasing down, searching for, or hoping for dope things to happen, let us simply sit back + attract.

we ain’t gotta beg or petition, we ain’t gotta wish on a star that all will be well, no.

let us be who we are — presenting to the world + matriculating through this life as our best selves, putting in our best efforts, + making the best out of any situation.

when we focus on centering our best attributes, attitudes, + actions, we give life no other choice than to support us with its best things.

it’s only when we can bring our best that we can see that we’ve always been surrounded by the best + that the best place to be is in this exact moment.

when you’re busy competing with others, following the trends, or living in a way that is inauthentic to who you are at your core, you’re so unrecognizable that what is meant for you can’t find you.

you might as well identify as anyone else but yourself because who can even tell the difference between the two?

today, challenge yourself to practice patience with your life, to recognize that dope things aren’t only coming your way, but it’s already here.

all that’s needed is an eye + attitude adjustment to see it in real time.

chasing after dopeness is a rush that fails to fill the void of what you’re actually searching for because…

what is it that you truly want to experience that isn’t available for you to experience now, fam?

instead of making life one big scavenger hunt where you’re looking for + chasing wealth, accomplishments + successes, hope, encouragement, or validation, take a beat, sit still, + listen up real quick:

what is for you is available to you right now + there’s nothing that can keep it from you but your refusal to accept it.

no more chasing, no more searching, no more begging —

trust the timing of your life,

trust that you’ve got what you need,

+ trust that all things are working for your highest good.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

what are/were you determined to experience today? reflecting on today, in what ways did you experience it? if you did not experience it, what can you do today to open yourself up to this experience in the future?
