when you are constantly wanting more in life, constantly feeling a need to work, to accomplish, + to do,
when do you have time to rest, to celebrate your accomplishments, + to enjoy what you have now?
unfortunately, your ego will never be satisfied with the amount of work you do, fam.
luckily, how dope you are as a person isn’t contingent upon what you do or what you accomplish in life.
today, remember you are more than your accomplishments.
you are kind,
you are witty,
you are carefree,
+
you are you.
when you live in the moment, you give yourself the opportunity to simply be.
there’s no need to put up a front or to convince someone that you’re important —
you are who you are + you don’t have to prove your worth, value, or dopeness to anyone (not even yourself).
the truth is you’ve been the shit, fam.
somewhere along the way, you were told that you only matter when you do something “significant” + that’s convoluted the way you see yourself outside of your accomplishments.
the chase ends here.
stop chasing what you think or what others have deemed important — the money, the cars, the clothes, the material things don’t matter.
who are you, fam?
be the best version of yourself + there’s no doubt that you can relish in the blissfulness that comes with simply being you.
be you, be dope!
