how to be expressive, kind, + assertive

changing your viewpoint takes expansion,

expansion takes patience,

patience takes discipline,

+

discipline takes love.

today, notice the correlation between change + love, + give yourself the opportunity to do all things with love.

the way to change the world is not through spewing hatred, holding onto old beliefs, + condemning others for living through their own experiences.

start with a change of heart.

notice where you’re limited in your viewpoint, in your mindset, + in your opinion.

expand your way of thinking by engaging others, by actively listening, by reading + learning, + by realizing that you can learn from anyone you meet in this world.

listen with patience, kindness, understanding, + grace.

realize how long its taken for you to change, so imagine the time it takes others to do the same (give grace, fam).

discipline your mind to see past perceived faults, to notice the core of the person, to hone in on their intentions, + to not react on impulse by taking what others think + do as a personal attack.

recognize that through love, you can heal hearts starting with your own.

through love, you can listen without taking offense + spread love without condition.

through love, you can be honest, open, + vulnerable.

through love, you can be expressive, kind, + assertive.

through + with love, you can change your world, our world, the world with a single interaction.

with love, you can move mountains + you won’t have to do it alone.

changing your viewpoint requires intentional action.

when you love deeply, change is inevitable.

be the change you wish to see, fam.

after all, real change starts within you.

be you, be dope!
