if you’re scared, say you’re scared

if you’re scared, say you’re scared, fam.

if you’re afraid of losing love, say that.

if you’re afraid of being alone, say that.

if you’re afraid of not being in complete control, say that.

if you’re afraid you’ll fumble that opportunity, say that.

the quicker you can admit what you’re feeling + determine the root cause of the fear, the quicker you can decide what you’ll do with that information.

constantly living in a state of fear only begets more fear.

but for real: how can you truly enjoy life when you’re constantly afraid you’re losing or missing out on something?

what type of life is that to live?

today, recognize your fears + approach them with an attitude of gratitude.

do a complete 180 on them + remind yourself of life’s goodness through affirmations + mantras —

i am grateful to experience love on such a deep level. my heart is full + the love i have is overflowing. all I do, i do in love.

i’m grateful for the time i spend bonding + connecting with others. in the quiet + still moments, i am grateful i can sit, take a breath, + admire the beauty in life. there is value in being alone.

i’m grateful for the opportunity to live in this moment. i am surrounded by endless possibilities + life always works itself out for me.

i’m grateful for the opportunity to even try. what comes of it will be + it comes with me giving my all + doing my best.

you will feel deeply, fam — your highs + your lows are all indicators of where your mindset is in the moment.

when you see your mindset shifting to a place of lack, remind yourself of the abundance life offers you every moment of the day.

by the way: you don’t have to be afraid in this moment.

you have every thing you need to live out the life that you’ve always wanted to live; to live life on your own terms.

the tangibles will come + go, the ego (the culprit behind your fear) will stick around so long as you feed it + give it attention, + the self-doubt will continue to rise until you address it.

what’s in your core, what resides in the heart space, is long lasting + time endearing, so hold onto what’s true:

you are courageous

you are creative

you are + will always be one dope human!

be you, be dope!

what do you appreciate most about what this fear is teaching you about who you are today?
