aht aht!
before you take that shortcut, here are three things to consider:
1) is it worth doing in the first place?
so you’re doing it in shortcut form, cool. 👐🏾
but why do it in the first place if you feel you aren’t committed to doing it full out + or doing it to the best of your ability?
2) are you doing it for people to notice + comment on how efficient you are?
because who cares what they think?
the optics don’t matter especially when you aren’t fulfilled while doing it!
3) whatever you choose to do in life is worth the effort.
when it truly aligns with who you are at your core, there isn’t a mountain too big that has the ability to stop you from doing what needs to be done.
today, go big + go all out!
there’s no point in half stepping + doing whatever you’re doing just to say you did it when there’s no integrity or sense of accomplishment attached to what you’ve done.
you deserve attention to detail.
you deserve to feel purposeful + useful.
you deserve to indulge in something meaningful.
you deserve to feel accomplished.
you deserve to go all out in life, fam.
who cares if someone thinks you’re being extra?
who cares if it takes you more time to do it how you want to do it?
who cares if you have to collect more resources, knowledge, + skills along the way to execute it like you want to execute it?
there is one person who cares: it’s you.
you no longer have to pretend like you’re okay with doing something half-assed when you know, deep down, that you want + deserve to go all in, ten toes down, + do it how the vision was placed on your heart to do.
live life with the understanding that there is one opportunity + that opportunity is now.
do what makes you happy,
do what makes you smile,
+
most importantly do what speaks to your spirit.
trust — you will notice the difference.
“i did my best” hits different when you truly did your best.
be you, be dope!
