it’s a damn shame what you did

it’s a damn shame what you did to that one idea you had the other day, fam.

instead of acknowledging how dope it was,

instead of writing it down to remember it later,

instead of taking action on it in the moment,

you failed to acknowledge it + had the nerve to completely forget about it.

no coming back to it later,

no challenging it or reworking it,

no choosing to commit to carrying it out or sharing it with the world —

you did nothing.

you come up with some of the darnedest ideas —

from very simple solutions to the most complex configurations you’ve ever seen + you won’t give yourself the credit you deserve; the gratitude of an imaginative mind.

today, take the time to acknowledge how beautifully your mind works + how dope your imagination is, fam.

these ideas came to you for a reason + it’s important for you to decipher in what ways, if any way, they can be applied to your life.

show interest in yourself + start believing in your ideas.

masterminding dope ideas is only the beginning —

choosing to act on them is where the true magic begins.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

in what ways do you choose to remember + acknowledge the different ideas?

what’s the last idea you decided to act on? in what ways did it improve your life?
