it’s not your fault life’s the way it is

it’s not their fault that your life is how it is now.

it’s not that the situation or circumstance were too much.

it’s not even your fault that you’re facing what you’re facing now.

so, whose fault is it, P?

whose fault is it that life is happening the way it’s happening to me?

it comes at the fault of no one that anything that’s happened has happened in your life.

today, instead of assigning + shifting blame from one culprit to another, accept responsibility for your choices.

assigning blame is a waste of your time + energy.

okay… so life happened.

who cares who is at fault?

the real question is: what will you do about it now?

what will you do now that you have a choice to make about the direction you’re heading?

what will you do now that you recognize the issue at hand + realize that there is a different way you’d like to explore?

what will you do now, fam?

the choice is yours.

how you decide to move from this moment on is on you.

blame for past mishaps, mistakes, + transgressions is unnecessary at this point.

it’s happened. it’s done. it may have hurt + caused some trauma, + that’s fine to acknowledge, too.

so, how we moving now, fam?

what’s now for you?

what do you want to do?

the responsibility for your life choices are all yours.

be you, be dope!
