one of the major ways to protect your wellbeing today is to watch what you say.
the words that flow from our mouths have meaning + it’s important that we think about what we are saying before we actually say it.
the proof is in the pudding, fam —
the power of words has no bounds.
words have started wars + ended wars,
words have held onto generational grudges + broken generational curses,
+
words have broken up homes + mended relationships.
words have even caused you to see yourself differently, question your own motives, + feel a way about yourself + your current life experience.
today, give yourself time to respond.
urgent emails + unexpected phone calls can knock us off balance because of how time sensitive a response is expected to be.
challenge yourself to take your time in cultivating a response that is well thought out + reflects what your heart truly wants to say.
the power of the tongue can bring life or death to any situation.
though you aren’t responsible for how others interpret what you say, what you say matters to all who can hear your voice or who can experience your words —
this includes what you choose to say to yourself, too.
speak love.
speak kindness.
speak life, fam.
be you, be dope!
