why do you keep stopping yourself, fam?
what’s with you constantly pulling back + holding yourself back from putting yourself out there?
when the going gets good, why must you “put yourself in your place”?
why is this the only lane in which you can travel? why can’t you pivot?
where else are you suppose to be other than enjoying this moment right here, right now?
stop it 🛑
stop telling yourself you can’t do something before you even attempt it
stop placing limitations on what you can + cannot do
stop telling yourself that you don’t deserve what’s for you
stop prematurely saying “no” + refusing to venture outside of your norm
stop all that shit!
fear will tell you to pause + retreat because you aren’t “ready yet”.
validation will convince you to hesitate on sharing your gifts with the world.
anxiety will keep you from speaking up + speaking out when your voice is needed most.
today, release the raggedy opinions you’re holding onto about yourself + show up!
you’ve been complicit in your own stagnancy for far too long.
coming up with + using any + every excuse to avoid the spotlight is done.
feeding into the fallacies that you’ve chosen to believe about your current situation is done, too.
you’ve played the villain long enough, now it’s time to be the hero in your story.
no one is going to save you from you but you, fam.
life can be challenging enough without the added weight of your obviously skewed + limited opinions about your capabilities.
dispel your current beliefs about yourself by taking action.
you think you can’t? prove it… to yourself.
with your best in hand, give all that you’ve got to this day + live like you won’t repeat this moment again…
because guess what?
you won’t. 🤷🏾♀️
but you have now
+
now is where life changes for you when you decide to keep going!
be you, be dope!
