it’s your last day, sis

waking up + saying,
“today is my day”,
but then carrying on
about our day as if
tomorrow is promised
is one of our biggest
mistakes in life.

it’s almost like we have become desensitized to seizing the day, fam.

but let’s switch up how we think about this:

if you knew today was your last, what would you make sure you did?

would you hug on your family a little longer?
would you make that call you’ve been putting off?
would you quit that job?
would you finally tell them how you really feel?

today is your last day, sis.

this is the last day you’re living like you did before —

it’s time for the new you to emerge.

the day is new + your slate is clean.

you can choose to be who you’ve always wanted to be today —

you want to be a reader? read something.
you want to be a writer? write something.
you want to be a beauty consultant? consult someone on beauty.

what you want is within your reach.

today is your day.

so what you can with what you have + make the most of it!

be you, be dope!
