leadership isn’t a position, it’s a qualification

you don’t become a leader simply because you hold a leadership position.

you become a leader because you are qualified to lead.

sure, there are tons of people put into leadership positions who are not qualified to lead.

i can tell you right now: holding a title or winning a popularity contest doesn’t make you equip to lead, fam.

the way in which you lead your life matters.

regardless if you want to be considered a great leader or not, you are a leader to some capacity.

no matter what others may say or how you may feel in this moment, you, too, have what it takes + are qualified to be a leader in your own right, fam.

yes, some of the people you consider leaders may lead on a larger scale (i.e. presidents of companies, celebrities, athletes, etc.);

however, the most impactful leaders in your life are folks you see every day whose actions make a life changing impact (i.e. parents, family members, teachers, community members, coaches, etc.).

today, recall the leaders in your life + recognize their shared qualities + characteristics that make them dope leaders.

then look within + notice that those same characteristics + qualities reside inside of you.

what you do makes a difference in this world, fam.

as a natural born leader, continue illuminating a way of life that inspires + encourages us all to live fully + richly by consciously + intentionally choosing to lead a life filled with love + gratitude.

it’s time to step up

+

become the leader you are destined to be.

be you, be dope!
