purposefully getting uncomfortable in life sounds scary AF.
why would anyone decide they’d like to experience uncomfortable when they can be comfortable?
who would say, “you know what!? i’ll happily + willingly take the increased heartbeats, the sweaty palms, + venturing into the unknown over comfortability any day!”
sounds foolish + anxiety filled, but lemme tell you: discomfort is what accomplishments are made of, fam!
in a state of discomfort, you learn exponentially —
likely because you ain’t tryna be uncomfortable for too damn long so you’re down with learning on the fly!
in a state of discomfort, you are more open to trying new things.
you’re wanting to get back to your comfort zone — of course you’re gonna try + see if this or that works!
additionally, not knowing what you’re doing + doing that shit afraid has its perks.
you aren’t holding yourself to some impossible standard or expecting yourself to be top tier as your goal is to make it though as best as you can as quickly as possible.
today, hop out of your comfort zone + let discomfort have its way with you.
allow discomfort to turn you every which way but loose, you hear me?
cash in on your ignorance + your fears by confidently venturing into the day knowing that you don’t have all the answers,
you don’t have to know all of the answers,
+ that even though life sometimes has you feeling uncomfortable, you are capable of figuring out what must be done.
do some shit that scares you today
+
do it willingly, without regret, + with your whole heart.
be you, be dope!

describe it only as you can: what’s your ideal life to live? are you willing to be uncomfortable in order to experience it? why or why not?
