let’s dead this controversy once + for all

your thoughts are controversial, fam,

especially when it comes to what you can + cannot do.

on one hand, there’s a deep rooted certainty in who you are + what you can do.

you know you can do what you can do because you’ve done it before, maybe even seen someone else do it + thought to yourself “shit, i can do that“.

hell, you may not know even know for sure, but that doesn’t matter because you’re extremely sure of yourself + are oozing with self confidence.

then there’s the other hand where you’re questioning your dopeness:

are you really that girl/person?

will it really play out the way you’re thinking it will play out?

can you really pull it off + do this?

let’s dead this controversy once + for all.

talk to people.

listen to their stories.

start your own journey.

get some experience under your belt + do the damn thang.

today, turn the lack of faith you have in your abilities into an all out learning session.

learn on the fly + become a student of life.

open yourself up to exploring possibilities, to taking chances on yourself, + to learning all the things.

you don’t know what you don’t know, fam… so learn.

be you, be dope!

how do you know you can’t?

when you haven’t attempted to do so, what makes you so convinced that it can’t happen for you?
