perfection is such a fleeting concept.
one moment, we’re celebrating an instance that showcases perfection in its purest form + the next moment, we’re beating ourselves up because something didn’t turn out as perfect as we believed it to be.
we mourn relationships, we nitpick our lives, + we lose hope all in the name of perfection.
if it ain’t perfect, we don’t want any parts of it + are unwilling to settle for less than what we deem the pinnacle of what we believe life should be, look, + feel to us.
the thing about perfection is its all a façade.
it is as real as our concept of reality + as you know, that is constantly changing, evolving, + completely different for everyone everywhere.
perfection is subjective, but how perfect your life is in this moment is not.
believe it or not, every thing is aligning perfectly for you right now.
one way you can support this theory is to see life through the lens of learning.
in learning, growth, + evolution, things are constantly changing. to be perfect is to accept your imperfections + to continue building on what you learn.
failure is perfection. imperfection is perfection. regrouping + reassessing is perfection.
all you can do is put your best efforts forward, understanding that though there are + will be flaws, you can manage to live the the full + rich life you deserve to live.
be you, be dope!
