now, why you rushing yourself through the day?

like the sun will shine when it shines,

a person will come around in their own time.

you can’t force someone to do something they don’t want to do, + yes, that includes you, too.

unless you are willing to a certain degree, you will find yourself sitting around + finding an excuse instead of doing what you know must be done.

think about how challenging it can be to get you off your ass + into action.

think about how difficult it can be to change your perspective, or to challenge a long standing belief, or to forgive someone who you feel has wronged you.

translate that thought over to how tough it may be for you (or anyone else for that matter) to peacefully + fully surrender, completely accepting what is for what it is at all times.

in the moment, it can feel like mission impossible!

i said all of that to say this: take your time today.

don’t rush the day by with your thoughts of hurrying it up or being done with it already.

don’t rush that car in traffic,

don’t rush the line at the store —

don’t even rush yourself out the house!

all things in due time.

allow divine timing to overrule your will + want for today + simply go with the flow.

what will be will be. ✨

every thing grows in its own time, fam + it doesn’t need your timeline to follow through on what it’s gonna do.

the present is the gift that keeps on giving as it gives you moments that are filled with opportunity + endless possibility.

savor the flavor of the day by staying in the present.

the future will wait for you.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

do you believe there is a time + place for every thing?

do you believe in the divine timing of your life?

recall + write down the times you rushed the moment today. what were you hoping to achieve in those moments? in retrospect, was it absolutely necessary to enforce your will + want over the situation? explain.
