there’s a multitude of feelings that have arisen for you in the past as a result of failing.
the act of failing can make one feel embarrassed, uneducated, disappointed, + overwhelmed.
it can cause us to question who we are + what our purpose may be.
the act of failing can send us flying off the rails in anger + frustration,
it can lead us into deep despair + depression,
+ it can send us permanently packing up + pressing pause on our dreams + desires, sometimes to never attempt another way due to fear of failing again.
spoken from someone who used to say they had a “fear of failure”, failure can have a strong hold over our lives, fam.
so it’s important that we go deep into ourselves + ask:
what did failure ever do to us?
when did attempting to give ourselves a different experience become so taboo?
what has failure taught us about ourselves?
i’ve said it before + i’ll say it again:
failure is feedback.
it exists to assist us in taking intentional action.
it exists to help us determine which direction we’d like to pursue.
it exists as a form of quality control.
when we are willing acknowledge + accept its purpose, we can understand that failure is one of the best things that’s happening for us.
fighting the feelings it conjures in our spirit is the true battle.
feel how you feel + feel it all.
what are those feelings telling you about what you truly want +/or need?
failure highlights the vast opportunities out there one can take to get to their desire.
this means it isn’t over for you.
don’t stop now.
failure is a form of reformation; a vital part of your process + of our collective journeys.
brace yourself with its possibility to show up today by seeing the purity of failure through a loving lens —
it wants what’s best for you + it won’t let up until you get exactly what you want + need.
today, make your pursuits limitless + your attempts endless.
you’ve got this.
be you, be dope!
