you ain’t gotta give up your peace for anything.
not work,
not success,
not relationships, —
not nothing!
think, for a moment, how much you can do when you’re in a peaceful state of being versus a chaotic, confused, or conflicted state being.
when you’re peaceful, your decision making skills are backed in clarity + love.
when operating in “doing entirely too much” mode —
hurried + busy, doing this with a little bit of that + a little more of that over there, you are essentially saving a seat on the struggle bus for yourself —
why ride that thing when you can walk around in peace?
today, don’t allow anything to bend you out of character, + take you away from your peace.
you think you work well under pressure, have you tried working while knowing that nothing can shake you or disturb your peace?
have you ever worked with the understanding that you are doing this because it’s something you want to do on purpose + with purposeful action?
when it comes packaged as inner turmoil + a peace disrupter, return to sender, fam.
your peace is important.
protect it at all costs.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
you think you work well under pressure, have you tried working while knowing that nothing can shake you or disturb your peace?
if so, recall a time + discuss the accomplishment that came from it.
if not, what makes you choose a work environment filled with pressure over peace?
