think about how you feel when you smell the following:
the scent of your favorite desert baking 🤤
petrichor (you’ve gotta look this one up) 🤤
a person wearing your favorite scent 🤤
the smell of freshly cut grass 🤤 then allergies 🤧 but still 🤤
a whiff of fresh air, especially after being inside for prolonged periods of time 🤤
indeed, there are scents that can uplift your spirits + bring a peaceful calm + others that can cause you to turn up your nose in disgust + have you ready to fight the air.
*silent, but deadly farts, i’m looking at you* 👀😷
focus on the former —
the fragrances that call your spirit to wonderment,
that force you to breathe deeper to take it all in,
that invite you to memorialize the moment.
there are so many ways to connect with yourself on a deeper level, fam.
identifying what delights your olfactory senses is one that you can employ time + time again;
it’s one that constantly reminds you to slow down + take in the moment.
