when life starts lifin’, pick something positive in which to place your focus.
your mind doesn’t have to default to “all things wrong with the world” when the possibilities to be positive are present + ready to be pursued, too.
okay, so on top of all that wild shit going on in the world right now, you just found out that you ran out of your favorite body moisturizer —
or you’re running a tad bit behind + your gas light came on immediately upon entering your car —
or you had your mind + mouth fixed on a particular meal + it’s no longer available to you —
it ain’t the end of the world, fam.
now’s the time to really dig deep into that positivity purse —
go read a book,
offer someone a smile,
help someone in need,
learn a new skill or trade,
create for the sake of creativity,
exercise, move your body, + have a full fledged sweat session,
solve an issue that you’ve been meaning to solve,
sit still + regulate your breathing —
as previously stated: the possibilities to be positive are present + ready to be pursued!
you’ve got what it takes to turn your life around in this moment, fam.
it all starts with changing your perspective about where you currently are in your life.
there is absolutely nothing working against you right now.
all things are working for your highest good, life wants to see you doing all the dope things you want to do, + there’s no better time to do them than now.
fascinating are the ways in which you can adapt, pivot, + intentionally focus your efforts into something meaningful + positive.
decide, right now, to adjust your attitude + take purposeful action that will secure the results you’re hoping to experience.
focus on what you can control:
your thoughts, your words, + your actions,
+
lean into creating an environment that uplifts + supports your efforts of remaining positive.
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
will your current worries matter tomorrow, in a week, in a month, or in a year’s time? if so, what steps are you taking to resolve it right now? if you are unable to change your situation, what is something positive in which can you focus your efforts?
