life is gonna hold you accountable whether you like it or not.
you can’t run from the consequences of your actions, fam.
further, your life is not someone else’s responsibility.
no matter how much someone preaches in your ear to do one thing instead of the other, you still have to make your own decisions as to what you’ll do in that moment + live with that decision.
today, start shifting your mindset to one that includes taking full responsibility over your own actions.
instead of depending on an outside force that, let’s be real —
can forget about what you’ve got going on or decide at anytime to stop holding you accountable —
find the courage to hold yourself accountable.
it’s way too easy to say, “well such + such didn’t call me today so I forgot” or “don’t blame me! they’ve been telling me what to do + i’ve been doing it“.
ok, and?!?!?!
ultimately, it was you who decided to do it or not to do it. 🤷🏾♀️
stop playing with your life!
shifting the blame is very telling of your level of readiness + commitment when taking on a task.
the opportunity to expand + grow lies in your hands.
will you take on the responsibility of yourself + hold yourself accountable for decisions you make about your own life?
will you courageously show up + take full accountability for your actions?
will you excuse others from the responsibility that comes with leaning into your life + holding your feet to the fire?
there is no dodging or avoiding the consequences of your own actions unless you decide to take action.
you owe it to yourself to steer your life in the direction that you’ve always wanted to go + you can do that for yourself today by holding yourself accountable.
be you, be dope!
