ready to tackle the rest of the challenge?
let’s goooooo then, fam!
today’s challenge (the 2nd part of the challenge) is as follows:
think about the expectations you have placed on others to give you a lifestyle that you are (un)willing to give to yourself.
in other words: what are you expecting others to do for you that you are unwilling to do for yourself?
even if you are willing to do something for yourself, what makes you feel others are obligated to do the same for you?
another way to phrase that: why is the expectation that others do what you do, how you do it for you?
unfortunately, none of us act the exact same or share the same beliefs + values.
fortunately, none of us act the exact same or share the same beliefs + values.
if you find yourself in a situation where someone’s actions are not enough for you, consider that a you problem + adjust accordingly.
it is unfair for any of us to place expectations onto others when they are giving their best.
a more wholesome approach is to accept the other person’s capacity, honor what they are giving as their best, + move forward knowing that more is out there for you somewhere other than there.
it’s not another person’s responsibility to give you all of what you’re looking for in life.
you hold the power to shake, rattle, + roll out when necessary. use it.
abundance is here.
you have all that you need right now + as you seek, you will find.
keep learning.
keep growing.
keep intentionally moving knowing that what you seek is seeking you, too.
what’s for you is for you.
the true expectation is for you to move through life as if it’s already yours.
be you, be dope!
