the bar is set in hell, sis

you want more than what they can give you.

what you gonna do?

will you stick around + accept the bare minimum?

will you stay because time has its hooks in you?

will you continue down the path even though you know it doesn’t align with what you want out of life?

know your worth.

know that you are worthy of more than the bare minimum.

the bar for bare minimum is set in hell, chile + well… you deserve better.

know that time moves with or without you.

the time you’ve invested is gone.

what will you do with the time you have left?

know that alignment creates ease —

ease of mind.
ease in life.

it brings about a sense of calm.

your heart rate isn’t elevated, you are aren’t frantically planning your next move —
you have a peace from within that radiates outward.

whether it’s a job that constantly overlooks you, a situationship (you know — those relationships that you have no idea what you’re doing because it lacks accountability), or a habit that is slowly starting to define you + bringing out your worse, know that it’s okay to walk away.

it’s time for you to get what you need + begin living life like it’s already yours (because newsflash: it is already yours)

playing small + crouching down to fit into a space that no longer works for you is done… it’s over.

spread your wings.

take up space.

you’re part of something way bigger, fam.

act like the dope chick you are.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

staying in situations that do not speak to your higher self can be draining + uninspiring.

are you currently in a situation that needs revamping or is calling for your removal (i.e. you can feel it in your gut that it’s not right for you)?

do you feel you are worth more than what the situation is giving you? explain.

how will you retain your sense of self in situations that no longer serve you?
