the glory is in the story

people who consistently achieve + experience consistent success not only get to reap the benefits of achieving their goals, they also get to enjoy the process of getting to that winning moment.

though there is much joy found in finally reaching the goal, joy can also be found in every step along the way.

addicts of achievement know how fulfilling it is to start + keep going.

things looking up? keep going.

things looking dim? keep going.

things falling into place? keep going.

obstacles in the way? keep going.

the glory is in the story, fam.

beating the odds + overcoming challenges is what makes the story a story.

the hardships, the joys, the let downs, the opportunities, the struggles, + the pivots all add to the richness in storytelling —

you overcame what to achieve this? + you didn’t let that stop you?

today, understand the power of purposefully + intentionally beating the odds, + having the courage to share your story.

you not only achieved what you achieved, but you did it when all else was seemingly working against you…

that’s because life’s always working for your good, fam.

there’s nothing on this green earth that can stop you but yourself.

even when things go awry as they sometimes will, life wants to not only see you win, it wants you, through your story, to inspire, energize, + encourage others with your testimony.

the winning is cool, but thestory of your journey? oh, that hits different!

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

tell your story of the obstacles you faced while achieving your latest goal. this story doesn’t have to be sad, filled with anger or hatred, or rival as the worst story anyone has ever heard. share what you did to make it this far + that’s it. no embellishments, please.
