one of the most sensical things we can do is to use our focus wisely + with intention.
funny enough, we don’t think about how powerful + life shifting our focus truly is.
our focus is an amplifier.
where we place it determines what we see more of in our lives.
when we focus on the experiences, situations, circumstances, + people that we’d rather not entertain, it doesn’t make their existence disappear into oblivion —
it only amplifies it + makes it very real for us.
today, decide where you will place your focus.
will you keep thinking about all those times you didn’t do xyz?
will you keep ruminating on what they are thinking or what they will do next?
will you keep holding your thoughts hostage by only focusing on what worries you the most?
rather than worrying or complaining, take some action + experience life the way you want to experience it.
there is a life to live beyond the worry + doubt you’re keeping top of mind, fam.
there is peace beyond the chaos + confusion you’re experiencing right now.
there is joy beyond the immediate anger + frustration you may feel in this moment.
when you find yourself focusing on all the things that evoke feelings +/or promote thoughts + experiences that you’d rather not entertain,
take a step back + adjust your focus so that you can clearly see where your precious energy is flowing + redirect it to where you need it most.
be you, be dope!
