treat yourself as if you are the most important person in the world right now.
at the same time, treat others with the same reverence.
two things can be true at once:
you are absolutely so, so, so important!
others are just as important as you.
think of yourself as a mirror + everyone you see is a reflection of who you are in the moment.
there are times you don’t like the way you’re acting —
do you meet yourself with rage?
do you pause + recalibrate?
do you offer kind + encouraging words?
today’s mantra:
whatever i do to + for me is what i do to + for others.
what does that look like in action?
the space we give ourselves to live our life on our own terms is the same space we give others.
the patience + grace we have with others when they flub + mess up is the same patience + grace we have with ourselves in similar circumstances.
the opinions + ideas we’re free to have + express may not be the same opinions + ideas others have, yet they also have the right to express theirs freely, too.
you may need more of something in the moment than what others may need + vice versa.
in action that looks like giving yourself what you need + when others need that same thing, being willing to give it just as freely.
today, act in a mutually beneficial way that not only empowers you, but also acknowledges the importance of everyone you encounter.
give yourself your best.
give your best to others.
be your best self.
be you, be dope!
