the opposite of struggle

peace of mind is not the opposite of struggle.

that’s why it’s empowering to remember that peace resides wherever you are.

life is filled with struggles, with challenges, + with difficult encounters.

none of which means you have to live in emotional purgatory while you’re going through, fam.

in moments of hardship are also moments of peace, of joy, of love, + of laughter.

even when riddled with grief, we’ve sometimes found ourselves laughing at the fun times, times that remind us of how beautiful our lives truly are.

don’t think for two seconds that, because you’re going through something, you cannot be at peace with where you are in your life right now.

rather, remember that in the midst of chaos there is calm + you can choose to engage in that experience. ✨

the troubles of today don’t have to delay you resting + residing in peace.

choose peace in the midst of what you’re going through + what you’re going through, though challenging, can be a peaceful experience.
