the rhythm + flow

waiting until everything is “perfect” before you act will have you waiting forever.

first of all, what we’ve been programmed to think + feel about perfect is unrealistic —

that shit doesn’t exist, sis.

so waiting for that will have you out there missing out on life.

it’s like jumping into the game of double dutch.

your hands are up,

got your body’s swaying back + forth tryna catch the rhythm of the ropes…

except your feet are stuck.

they aren’t taking the leap that’s required to jump into the game + work with the rope.

take the leap, *|FNAME|*.

sure, it’s possible that the ropes can tangle + create a mess around your feet; an entanglement if you will 😜…

but you’ll get out.

when you jump + flow with the ropes, they also hold the possibility to keep going, + going, + going —

before you know it, you’re all in: jumpin’ + having a blast while doing it!

you’ve caught the beat + you’re making progress!

that progress triggers your confidence, now you’re out here attempting tricks + special moves + shit —

shit you never knew you could do!

fancy footwork, spin moves — the whole nine.

should the ropes hit your feet + you have to start again, no need to panic: take in that pause.

it’s okay to catch your breath, regroup, + start fresh.

that pause is just what you’ll need to get ready to go full throttle on your next turn. 😉

confidence + accomplishment are on the other side of those metaphorical ropes, sis.

jump into your life,

get into the rhythm + flow,

feel that feeling of “i’m doing that shit” ,

+ allow it to propel you forward into new, unknown + more complex challenges.

give yourself space to make mistakes, fam.

you may not possess the skills right now to do everything you want to do + that’s fine.

focus on one jump at a time, have fun + believe that you’ll keep on jumpin’!

right now is the perfect moment, the perfect opportunity to start: seize it.

be you, be dope!

when will be the perfect time for you to start?

how will you know when it’s perfect timing?

what will you do in the meantime while waiting?
