you want more —

more life, more abundance, more this, more that

what about what you have right now?

is that not enough, fam?

these aren’t some trick questions to talk you out of your desires, quite the opposite, actually.

the question is about both contentment + gratitude.

contentment reveals how unswayed we are by more or less.

what we have right now is enough.

gratitude is about giving thanks for all we have now.

when gratitude + contentment combine, we can express gratefulness for what we have right + know that it is substantial; that is it enough.

we aren’t worried about having more or devising a plan to make sure we aren’t experiencing less.

i mean, what do you need a plan for when your very lifestyle choices are in alignment with what you most desire? 😉

be at peace with now.

you may get more + at some point, you may experience less, but here’s the thing: none of that matters as of now.

right now, you are whole.

you have everything you need.

this is mindfulness in practice.

do you believe that the desires of your heart have been granted?

are you living as though your dreams are already fulfilled?

having more or less, doesn’t matter, fam.

will you express your contentment + gratitude for now?

take care of now.

for without now, there won’t even be a later to experience.

be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:

one way we show contentment is by giving gratitude for what we have right now.

list ten (10) things you are grateful for right now. this can include, + is not limited to, what you accept about yourself, about others, about your current situation/circumstances, etc.
