okay, listen here, Veruca Salt:
no matter how much you want something right now, there are benefits in exercising patience.
as we know from yesterday’s email that patience is the cornerstone of confidence.
patience also gives space for discernment to exist, for refinement to take place, + for you to let go of what no longer serves to make room for what you are wanting to receive.
understand that dope things take time.
it’s understandable you want to experience immediate results, + you’re thinking that if you go all in right now, you’ll see those quick changes + reap the benefits expeditiously.
take a page out of the culinary books: most dishes with rich + complex flavors need time to intermix + mingle, + taste better as time progresses, usually reaching their peak flavor profile the next day.
like fine wine or a delicious meal, your skills need time to marinate to fully develop; to age with delight + goodness in order to produce optimum results that you’ll enjoy more than anything that’s rushed or half-assed.
today, slow down + take your time, fam.
the results will come + the process of getting said task done is what makes the accomplishment all the richer.
be you, be dope!
