our feelings have a habit of telling us that we can’t muster up the willingness to do something that we know must be done.
they love telling us that since we aren’t in the mood to get something done + since we aren’t feeling “it” right now, that the task must go undone until we’re ready to do it.
first + foremost: your feelings are not facts, fam.
so when you’re feeling all, “oh, i’m not in the mood for all that right now“, it is possible to push past that, to get in the mood, + to get shit done.
you feeling like the world is against doesn’t mean the world is against you…
that’s simply how you feel in the moment + how you feel can change depending on how you decide to view the world around you.
today, don’t allow your feelings to dictate what you do in your life.
opportunities await you, but because you’re in your temporary feelings you won’t even entertain them.
possibilities are all around you, but because you’re in a mood you’ve decided that there is no way something can be done even when there clearly is a way.
stop allowing your “right now feels” to talk you out of living the life you’ve always wanted to experience.
imagine how different your life can be on the other side of that challenge;
how intently you can live when you decide to do what must be done regardless of sulking + complaining about something you can actually change.
your feelings can get the best of you when you allow them to control you rather than you controlling them.
today, determine who will be in control of your life now: you or your feelings
be you, be dope!

journal prompt(s) for today:
how are you feeling right now?
is how you feel right now impacting the decisions you’re making? why or why not?
if so, what can you do to change your mood?
