i woke up + decided i’m going to have a damn good day today!

i realize i have choices —

i can choose to be in whatever state of mind i’d like to be.

you have that same power of choice, fam.

you get to decide how you will feel + when you will feel it.

feelings will flow.

you won’t constantly feel any particular emotion, but you can choose how want to feel in today’s moments.

you angry right now? feel angry.

does that mean you have to be angry at the end of the day? nope.

you feel embarrassed? feel that!

does that embarrassment have to last all day? nah.

allowing our emotions to control us is a thing of the past.

we can control ourselves. we will control ourselves.
