we’ve been masked up for way too long

there are some things in life that you love, some things that you can tolerate, + some things that no matter what you simply dislike.

it’s all good — there’s nothing right or wrong about having preferences.

today, be honest with yourself + with others about who you are.

put yourself out there + don’t hold back.

we don’t all dream the same dreams, have the same overall visions for our lives, desire the same things, or eat the same meals.

we are individuals who are capable of putting our differences aside to work collectively.

conceptually, you nor anyone else has to forsake their true selves for anyone’s full acceptance.

let’s turn the concept of acceptance into a daily practice.

as honest as you are about your likes + dislikes, allow others to share their same sentiments.

we aren’t going to always agree + that’s fine.

accept life for what it is, for where you are in it, + for what you can make of what it’s giving you right now.

right now, you have an opportunity to expand your way of thinking.

right now, life is offering you a different perspective.

right now, you can choose to be who you are or to conform to someone you’re not.

we’ve been masked up for way too long.

some of us don’t even know what we truly look like outside of the painted faces we wear every single day.

unmask + unleash the contents of your heart.

explore yourself in depth + give space for others to do the same.

what you may find is that we are more alike than different after all.

be you, be dope!
